ELVA HOWARD WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCED

Accredited Ministry Development of the Church of God of Prophecy announced on June 7, 2019 the creation of the Elva Howard Women in Leadership Scholarship. This new academic scholarship will be awarded to a female student who is enrolled in one of AMD’s academic programs and is fully engaged in ministry outside of the United States serving as a pastor, evangelist, or local/regional church leader. COGOP Leaders Graduate from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary

On Saturday, May 11, 31 Master of Arts in Religion students and 13 Doctor of Ministry in Global Pentecostalism students graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston, Massachusetts. Those who graduated represented the nations of Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Panama, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, and the United States. COGOP SPANISH D.MIN. STUDENTS COMPLETE FIRST RESIDENCY WITH WTS

During February 18 through March 1, 2019, seventeen COGOP leaders, along with six other students from other denominations, met in the Dominican Republic to launch the first Spanish Doctor of Ministry cohort in partnership with Western Theological Seminary. These students included presbyters, national overseers, pastors, and church leaders from seven South American nations, four Central American nations, and the International Offices. AMD Announces Expansion of Graduate Programs with Pentecostal Theological Seminary

In a letter to students on Thursday, July 26, Accredited Ministry Development (AMD) announced a significant expansion of and enhancements to its graduate programs offered in collaboration with the Pentecostal Theological Seminary (PTS). In the fall of 2017, AMD launched fully-online options for those seeking a Master of Arts in Counseling or a Master of Arts in Church Ministries degree.
