Dr. Kristel Phillips

Kristel Phillips has taught at several Institutions including Valencia College, Seminole Community College, Southeastern Community College, Fayetteville Technical Community College, Blue Ridge Community College and Mount Olive College (private). She has worked in the Wellness Center at Winter Park Hospital as an Exercise Physiologist, and Director of Wellness Exercise Programs at Mid-Florida Technical Institute (part of Orange Co Public School system). She has served as Director of Educational Programs for the American Lung Association (Central Florida), has coached and served as an Administrator of Sports Programs at the Youth and Sports Club in Orlando, and served as Softball Coach for Southeastern Community College. She has taught classes in Physical Education, Education and American Sign Language. Kristel is the author of Learn to Live Fit, a text book for Fitness and Wellness classes, and has assisted in writing sections of other books/manuals in fitness and education. For the past 14 years, Kristel has also facilitated Home Education groups in Florida, N.C. and AZ. Her areas of emphasis have included Cultural Diversity, Sciences and Fitness/Wellness. Kristel currently lives in Tucson, AZ with her husband and 2 sons. She and her family attend the Church of God of Prophecy where she teaches children and teens.
