Degree Programs
Accredited Ministry Development collaborates with institutions of higher education to equip Church of God of Prophecy ministry and leadership through accredited programs leading to post-secondary, graduate, and postgraduate degrees.

AMD presently has formal partnerships or affiliations with the following institutions:

Pentecostal Theological Seminary

Diploma in Wesleyan-Pentecostal Ministry

Accreditation – The CWPM is a 90-unit program that is certified by the Association for Hispanic Theological Education (AETH) and approved by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS).

Tuition – Tuition for each course is $150, after a special scholarship from the International Offices that is available only to Church of God of Prophecy students.

Location – Classes may be taken online with optional on-site intensives offered in select locations. Courses and cohort groups are forming globally now. There may be a cohort group forming in your area where classes will be offered every semester or quarter. Classes are also available online.

Prerequisites – Anyone may enroll in the certificate course.

Master of Arts in Counseling Degree (MAC) or Master of Arts in Church Ministries (MACM) Degree

Accreditation – The MAC and MACM degrees are 48-hour degree options that are ATS and SACS accredited, the highest academic accreditation possible.

Tuition – Tuition for each 3-hour course is $650, after a special scholarship from the International Offices that is available only to Church of God of Prophecy students. Courses are also eligible for Federal Financial Aid.

Location – Classes may be taken on-site (where available) or online. Courses and cohort groups are forming globally now. There may be a cohort group forming in your area where classes will be offered every semester or quarter. Classes are also available online and our first COGOP Online Cohort will begin June 1, 2017 (must apply by May 1).

Prerequisites – Anyone with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is eligible for graduate studies. In rare exceptions ministry experience is accepted as entrance. This allows some students into graduate programs based on experience only, without prior academic standing.

Doctor of Ministry

Accreditation – The Doctor of Ministry Degree is a 36-hour degree option that is ATS and SACS accredited, the highest academic accreditation possible.

Tuition – Tuition is $5,000.00/year ($15,000 total), after a special scholarship from the International Offices that is available only to Church of God of Prophecy students. A new, additional scholarship provides $1,000 annually to students enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry program. Courses are also eligible for Federal Financial Aid.

Location – Degree requires a two week per year residency (3-4 year program).

Prerequisites – Anyone with a Master of Divinity degree, or a Master’s Degree with further equivalency classes, is eligible for D. Min. Program.
