COGOP/PTS AGREEMENT SIGNED TO PROVIDE MASTERS PROGRAMS IN CENTRAL AND SOUTH AMERICA

On Tuesday, December 3, 2019 Church of God of Prophecy leaders met with administrators from Pentecostal Theological Seminary to sign a memorandum of understanding to formalize the initiation of master’s program cohorts in Central and South America. Bishop Sam Clements, Bishop Benjamin Feliz, Rev. Kathy Creasy, and Dr. Michael Hernández gathered with Dr. Michael Baker, president of Pentecostal Theological Seminary and Dr. David Han, Vice-President of Pentecostal Theological Seminary. The memorandum of understanding acknowledges the spirit of collaboration between the Church of God of Prophecy and Pentecostal Theological Seminary to provide graduate training to the next generation of leaders in Central and South America. The South America cohort is slated to begin in Spring 2020 and the Central America cohort is being planned for Spring 2021. Students who become a part of these cohorts will receive training from Pentecostal scholars and will work towards a Master of Arts in Church Ministries using a combination of onsite and online learning in each of these regions.
